A Word of Warning

I am well aware that if you search the internet you will find “photographers” who will offer to take numerous photographs of your property for much less than I charge. I do not try to compete on price against these individuals as I am proud of the quality of my service and the photographs that will present your home in the best possible fashion.

I will not compromise on quality.

An investment of £120 now in professionally taken photos can reap a considerable return in terms of additional viewers and greater offers.

Pricing for Individual Properties

• I will take many photographs of your property and then provide you with low-resolution unprocessed proof images of all the photos taken of your property. From these you can make your selection of the 12, or more, images you want to be post-processed (please see explanation below)

• £120 for 12 photographs to include front and rear external shots, kitchen, bathrooms, principal bedrooms, reception rooms and hall.

• £5 for each extra photograph (over and above the original 12), taken at the same time as the initial 12 images.

• Each photograph to be sent to you, via e mail, as a JPEG image file suitable for display on property sale websites such as Rightmove and Zoopla.

• I do not charge travelling expenses for any property within an 8 mile radius of central Billericay. Please see the map below for the area covered.

• For travel beyond this area I charge 40p per mile to your property and return to the bordered area. I shall quote a cost before visiting your property.

• If superior quality images are required (of photographs previously taken) for printing in newspapers or brochures these are available, on request, at a cost of £5 each. This typically means a large file of say 8 megabytes as opposed to the 200 kilobyte file required for the internet.

Post Processing Explained

This is the work undertaken on a computer after the photographs have been taken. It involves adjusting:

Colour temperature

Brightness and contrast

Correction of lens distortion

Correction of distorted verticals and horizontals

Cropping of an image to exclude distractions

Replace grey skies

Cloning out items such as shoes, boxes, dustbins and anything that detracts from the image

and numerous other alterations depending on the individual image
